Hello out there. This is my introduction to the blog world. I thought I would create this thing to document and share my life and travels with everyone. Let's get things started with a little background:

My name is Derek. I live in wonderful but windy San Francisco. I have a beautiful and amazing girlfriend Tara. I enjoy riding, working on, and nerding out about bikes. I try my best to hold up a vegan lifestyle. I play the guitar and tour in a silly metal band called Arsonists Get All The Girls.
